Tjololo, the star of the film, had just proclaimed
himself a territory. The film follows him making his debut on Mala
Mala Game Reserve, South Africa, seeing off other competitors to
his throne and relishing in his prize of a number of well-earned
females and a territory with an abundant prey base.

The film is inextricably linked to Beauty and the
Beasts as Tjololo not only discovers Beauty with her dead cub, but
mates with her on numerous occasions.
Follow Tjololo in his solitary existence as he learns to live with
an ever-present "shadow" in the form of hyaenas always
trying to steal what he works so hard to gain.
